This is not a curriculum. Dr. Heck provides information, strategies, and tools to the home educator community, who otherwise may not have access to this information.

This is not a reading program. The webinars will provide information that is important to know when teaching literacy; that critical information will be presented in a personable manner, at an affordable price, and in an accessible format.

Dr. Heck offers trainings that teach home educators how to use strategies and tools to teach various literacy components (i.e. phonemic awareness, vocabulary, writing, phonological skills, comprehension) to the children they work with.

It is up to you which trainings you attend. You can attend one or all. Each training can stand alone with the information it provides.

You do not need a formal education background to learn the information provided in the sessions.

This training is focused to support the home educator community, including parents. Teachers may also attend.

No, each session is paid for separately, and is affordably priced.

The sessions range from 50 minutes to 1 hour and 15 mins in length.
